For as long as I can remember, I have been told that I am a daydreamer. I was often lost in worlds of colour, emotion, and imagination. My soul has always sought a way to understand and express itself through my studies in psychology, dance, yoga and creativity - but for years, I struggled to find my artistic voice. That all changed when I embarked on the Milan Art Mastery Program, a journey that didn’t just refine my skills — it transformed my entire relationship with art and, ultimately, with myself.
The Roots of My Creativity
Art has always been in my blood. My mother is an artist who can create anything you can imagine. I envied the elegant drawings in her adolescent sketchbook, effortless sketches on serviettes or the sand mermaid tails she would mould over our legs at the beach, paintings of Greek fishing boats and horses, decorative art of seascapes on furniture that she recycled for herself and others, rustic ceramics, sewing clothes and furnishings, traditional crochet learned from my grandmother and more. Growing up in that world, I was inspired but unsure how to shape my own artistic identity. I explored countless in-person and online classes, collected endless supplies, and experimented with various techniques, yet something was missing. I had no clue who I was as an artist. I had no clue what I wanted to say with my paintings.
My journey toward artistic mastery turned a corner when I followed one of my favourite artists, Katrina Koltes, from an online course with an amazing array of artists called Paint Your Heart and Soul by Olga Furman to a YouTube show called The Outstanding Artist - Season Three. That’s when I discovered Elli Milan, whose words struck a chord deep within me. She spoke directly to my heart and finally ignited the desire to put art first. After years of building my career as a holistic psychologist, integrating my passions of psychology, yoga, Dance and creativity as Wellness Arts (Holistic Psychology), it was time to take a year off my job at a hospital where I had worked for 23 years and focus on making art my number one priority.
The Transformation: More Than Just an Art Course
The Milan Art Mastery Program was unlike anything I had experienced before. It wasn’t just about learning techniques—it was a complete artistic awakening. With structured lessons on drawing, oil painting, mixed media, art history, industry and how to sell my art, I gained the skills I had long sought.

Through incredible content, coaching, an inspiring worldwide community within the Milan Art online platform, and guided self-exploration every step of the way, I began painting with newfound confidence and clarity. Every brushstroke became a reflection of my inner world — my dreams, my relationships, my emotions. My art was no longer just an expression but a conversation with my soul.
Owning My Art and My Purpose
Today, I create with purpose, authenticity, and passion. My work is no longer just about technique — it is about storytelling, emotion, and connection. I finally see how art is woven into every part of my life, shaping not only what I create but how I exist in the world.

My soul has found its true expression on the canvas, and every painting is a reflection of the dreams and daydreams that have always lived inside me.
